Liquid Amino Diet Challenge: Commit to Vegetarian Week 5/21-5/27
Next week is National Vegetarian Week! We have numerous customers who have discovered the benefits of choosing a meat free diet, and have experienced its positive life altering effects. Natural energy, lower cholesterol, and overall mental clarity are a few of the immediate rewards.
The Liquid Amino Diet is not only a weight loss aid but it is also an opportunity to change your outlook on food. One of the great things about LAD is that it is Vegetarian Friendly! Each meal on the program consists of lean proteins, fruits, veggies, healthy fats, and even some carbs. Protein is a necessity in life, especially while on a low calorie diet, and each meal must have a protein. While on the Liquid Amino Diet we recommend one meal per day be vegetarian but next week is National Vegetarian Week, so we have a challenge for you….
Click on the link above to download one week of vegetarian meals (if you have difficulty opening the link, try opening in a new window. If you still have problems email us at firstname.lastname@example.org) for the Liquid Amino Diet. This meal plan includes shopping lists, 7 daily menus, new recipes, and even a few active day substitutes in case you choose to workout. We are giving you time to go shopping and do some prep work before the vegetarian week begins on Monday – May 21st. You may find that it so enjoyable that you choose to continue on for the entire 30 days (or more) of the program.
Whether you are committing to the entire week, or just looking for veggie friendly options to cut down on your red meat intake for health reasons, we have some Liquid Amino Diet friendly suggestions for our fellow herbivores.
- Cottage Cheese
- Vegan Boca Patties
- Protein Shakes*
*You want to look for protein shakes that have less than 4 grams of carbohydrates per scoop and about 20 grams of protein. These will usually be about 120-130 calories per scoop. Vibrant Health mixed berry protein powder is delicious!
This is your life and your body so get creative and realize that there will be a small “learning curve” to figuring out which vegetarian options will work to give you the best results while on the program. If you are up to the challenge, join us next week as we focus on vegetarians and release articles each day with helpful tips information all about vegetarians.
