Confused about vegetarian vs. vegan? A vegetarian is someone who is conscious of the foods they eat, avoiding many direct animal products such as red meat and poultry. However, some vegetarians eat chicken, fish, or eggs and no other animal products. Vegans, however, do not consume any animal products or animal by-products. This is a little more extensive than vegetarianism; vegans do not eat dairy, eggs, gelatin, and often do not wear animal skins, furs, or other materials derived from an animal source and/or a violent manner.

While on the Liquid Amino Diet we recommend that at least one meal each day is vegetarian, but if you have committed to eating a vegetarian menu for this entire week, you can download our week of menus and recipes at the link below.  You may need to push yourself to think outside of what you are used to eating and how you are used to preparing food.

In addition to the 7 day menu we have a number of vegetarian recipes on our website that you can use to add variety or swap different foods out. The number of combinations of vegetables, fruit and seasonings may surprise you. As you search for the recipes that you can cook and enjoy, use your imagination to give new flavor and variation to what could otherwise be called a restricted diet.
