Simply Mushrooms (P1)

  • 1 heaping tbsp. Olive oil
  • 1 crushed garlic clove
  • 8oz package rinsed and cut mushrooms
  • 3 tbsp. chopped onion
  • 1 tsp. fresh tarragon, chopped
  • 1/2 cup red wine vinegar- no sugar


  • Add oil and garlic to large pan and saute at medium-high heat
  • Stir in onions, mushrooms, and tarragon
  • Cook until mushrooms begin to brown
  • Pour in red wine vinegar and cover
  • Cook until vinegar has dissolved and mushrooms are tender


When you get to Phase 2 you can swap the olive oil for butter if you like!
