ive been doing this diet and I am a type 2. This diet is definately ok for you to do. I have had excellent results both in keeping my blood sugar level and losing weight. Im 30 lbs lighter and I do not take any medication to control my blood sugar. Thanks to this diet, I can eat healthy and not have any cravings. best of luck to you. don’t let your diabetes win. with this diet you will be successful!
