  • 5 oz shrimp
  • juice of 1 lime
  • minced garlic to taste
  • chopped cilantro to taste.


  • I make the marinade a couple hours before mealtime. I just put everything in a ziploc baggie and add the shrimp. I usually marinade it in the refrigerator for an hour or more.
  • I put the shrimp on the hot grill and baste the shrimp with the extra marinade while it cooks. I turn the shrimp often and keep recoating. If you have any marinade left - give each shrimp a little splash after you take them off. It's light and refreshing.
