Does the Amino Diet Work? Lauren has already lost almost 10 pounds!!

I just started again (9/2) and hope to lose about 27 pounds.  I  wear a size 12/14 pants and XL shirt.  Due to my intense sweets cravings (weight gain), I am also using the Dual Support pills, in hopes to help some of that. I find that using a tool to log the foods I eat, the water I am consuming and my weight.  I also used this tool to log my initial starting measurements. One month later I am down 9.2 pounds and 8.5 inches. I must admit I was a bit discouraged at the lack of weight loss. Fortunately, toward the end of my first month, I figured out what I was doing wrong. When I had done the Liquid HCG diet I was able to take a brisk walk (up to 60 minutes a day) and not have to do the active protocol. So making an assumption, that LAD would be the same I took the regular .5 ml three times a day. After reading through my book again, I decided to take a stab at taking .7 mls three times a day, following the active protocol on days when I was planning on at least a 60 minute brisk walk. On these days, my weight loss went up to over a pound a day!

My advice and lessons learned: Read the book, and read it again and again and again. Ask questions. There is no bad question. The only thing you have to lose by asking, is the weight you want gone. Best Wishes to each and every one!
