As with many people, when they hit the “50’s” there is a sudden realization of “how did I put on this weight and why isn’t it coming off?” That certainly was true for me! I’ve always been an athletic person but these few years have left me a little more sedentary than I would like. And so, the weight was easy to pack away (not to mention my incredible sweet tooth). I have tried numerous other diets – counting points, calories, carbs – and lost weight but wound up putting it back on. Until I tried the Liquid Amino Diet. Yes, it was strict and seems to be a bit limiting but….IT WORKS!
And what it also does for me is make me very conscious of the food I eat. Everything. Period. After 35 days of being on it I know how food will affect me. And yes, occasionally I will ‘cheat’ to fend off a craving. But the next day I know what happened and I learn how to handle the ‘cheat.’
Twenty pounds lost in about 35 days…15 more pounds to go!!! THANK YOU LAD!
