It was actually hard to find a good before pic because I hated how big I looked in pictures I never kept many that showed it. I have lost 34 lbs. now but this pic was at around 28.
So far I lost 34 lbs. and am close to being finished my first round of Phase 1. I also work out at the gym 4-5 times per week so that includes building muscle. I have lost around 30 inches total. I went down 3 sizes and now my 12’s are getting too big, I am starting to fit into some 10’s! I now fit in small and medium shirts. I haven’t been this small since around 10 years ago. I was always a decent average size until I had a baby and got older, then my metabolism slowed and I was not really watching my diet (and was not physically active at all). I found the LAD through a friend’s facebook page and was instantly interested and am SO glad I made the decision to go on this diet.
I love that the Liquid Amino Diet teaches you eat REAL food that is healthy for you instead of using meal replacements. It is really a lifestyle change more than a diet. I am excited to be able to treat myself to some milk, cheese and peanut butter on Phase 2 and then will shift back to Phase 1 for one more round to my goal, which I KNOW I will achieve. My advice to anyone trying this diet that is having difficulty is to NOT give up. We all lose at slower or faster rates for whatever reason but if you stick with it and stay motivated it WILL come off. There were days I thought I was doing something wrong where I wouldn’t lose on just one day and then all of a sudden my weight would drop a few pounds. I also recommend not to forget to keep track of measurements, a lot of times they show faster loss than scale weight. So I kept with it and am now so happy with my body. I finally love the way I look again and enjoy showing it off!
