3 Tips To Help You Lose The Holiday Weight

It is easy to keep extending the holiday season and keep snacking on those chocolate oranges, or the candy cane kisses. Most of us are pretty good at keeping to our diet if we are the ones fixing the meal and buying the food but the holiday season can sabotage the best laid diet plans! Now that the holidays are over, it’s time to get back on track. Here are a few tips to get you started.

Holiday Weight Reduction Tip #1 – Lose the Gifts

Almost no one can withstand all the holiday goodies if they hang out on the counters day after day waiting to be nibbled on!  The chocolates, fudges and cookies brought by neighbors cannot stay unless you want to keep gaining weight!  This will be hard, but do it for yourself; either give away all these high calorie saboteurs or find a place for them in the trash.  Painful as it sounds you will immediately feel empowered and ready to take back control of your eating.

Tip# 2 – Make a Diet Plan
